HELP ... any CHINCHILLA peeps about?

My daughters chinchilla went to chinchilla heaven last week
I know all about chinchillas ... well IYKWIM re caring for them etc
My daughter has got a great set up, but as I say , no chinchilla
So I thought I'd get her another one as a surprise
I wanted to give a home to another chinchilla (the one we have just lost was also re-homed) as there are so many animals needing a good home without going to the pet shop etc
What I'm NOT good at is paying for things when people ask for 'sensible offers'
I always avoid this like the plague, but I'm going to see a chinchilla in an hour or so that needs re homing
He looks really nice and I would like to give him a new home
He belongs to a breeder, who says his mate has died and she wants him to go as she hasn't got a suitable partner for him
The thing is I have NO IDEA what to offer in the way of cash!!
Please can anyone help?
We are just getting the chinchilla ... no cage or anything as we already have everything set up and waiting for a new resident lol
I hope some one can give me some advise
Thanks

This is probably too late as you said it was in a hour, but if you didn't go, i can recommend this site for information and advise for chins: chinsrus.co.uk
i have no affiliation with the site, just know someone that is on it and gets lots of help and info from there.0
