Hi,
I have some movies transferred onto my PC (W7) from my Sony handycam - Have already burnt a few movies onto DVD-R discs which play fine on both my PC & DVD Player.
Bought some more disc to complete the transfer of the rest of my movies & these are DVD+R
Have burnt the movie to the disc, which plays fine on my PC, but when I try & play in DVD player, comes up as 'cannot play DVD'?
I googled the problem & it seems I need to finalise the disc, but, I can't find out how to actually do this?
Can anyone help
Thank you

You should be able to do it with a PC if you:
- Download and install ImgBurn. It's free and highly reputable, but you might need to deselect a toolbar or the like during installation.
- On the 'Tools' menu select 'Drive', then 'Close', then 'Disc'.0 -

I've found the web-site, (Your link didn't work?)but when I click onto the download button, it comes up with 'spy-ware doctor'?
Is this right?"Hope for the Best

Hi, sounds like your dvd player is not compatible with the "+" format. Is it an old machine, or a not so old Panasonic? Ask someone with a newer dvd player to try it for you, if it works, then it's your player.0

Maybe you should run malwarebytes.
I always buy dvd-r discs , think they are more compatible.
Imgburn is a well regarded prog on this forum, google it and see if your avg flags it when from different sources.
edit- it's central under download locations , download@majorgeeks , to the right of author,date,etc.0
