Hi All.
Just had my first bill from EDF and it seems to be wrong?
I signed up for the online saver 7 tariff with quidco, think it was the £75 bonus. But i cant remember the prices per unit.

Below is my first bill
11 dec 2010- 21 feb 2011
Electricity used 17406c - 18793 A , units 1387 used.
first 178 @ 16.910p =£30.10
next 1209 @ 10.25p =£123.92 Total 154

Charges £154.02
DD discount -£9.24
vat refund -£0.46
vat 5% £7.70
Welcome bouns -£75
Total £77.02

This is the first time i have every switched, any help would be great before i contact them.

Why do you think that it is wrong?

You seem to be using approximately 20 kWh per day based on a customer start reading and an actual reading = 1387 kWh used.

Do you use 20 kWh per day? Read your meter regularly to check.

I think it is wrong because i thought the OS7 was a cheaper tariff.
My first meter reading was done on 21st feb. Previous to that i sent them the meter reading just before they took over on 11 dec.

Thats the standard tariff you have quoted, give them a call and they'll rebill you on online saver v7 and add the welcome bonus.

[STRIKE]Hmm, you may be correct - that 10.25p seems a little high - you may have been placed on the wrong tariff. If you tell them you will be able to get the bill recalculated.[/STRIKE]

Never mind. Cross post. Saver 7 should be less than 9p per day (depends on region.)

    Thankyou.
In am in the Northwest, so should be paying 7.32p per kwh and a 27.55p per day fixed daily charge, but there is no daily charge on my bill.

For anyone else in this situation, when we signed up we were sent a booklet with the prices in it which of course we all kept. So now just check that they are using the correct charges.
