Washing Powder all brands 2kg now 1kg?!

Hey,

The last time I bought my usual 2kg of washing powder was about a month and a half ago. I have been noticing in the last few weeks walking down the cleaning aisle a new size of box - a ridiculuously small 1kg box and then what seems like a larger than ever box.

Last night my 2kg box ran out so on the weekly shop got very angry when all I could find were these new 1kg boxes for the same price I paid for twice the amount 6 weeks ago :mad: :mad: :mad:

So like most moneysavers I then decided to look at the bigger box, this seems to have gone bigger than ever at least another 2kg in there but the price has almost doubled!

In the end I didnt buy any, I am going to go in search of the 2kg box

This is a blatant rip-off, what is going on?! is there some kind of washing powder shortage :rolleyes:

Recently I've been finding that because of special offers, liquids have worked out cheapest by cost per wash. I find liquids give better results for me, too. It says a lot when Bold liquid works out cheapest!
