I was thinking of moving my line rental from BT.( I am now having second thoughts having read some posts here).
But if i did one thing i am not clear on is ,will i still be able to use the web without changing my Internet Service Provider. I believe my ISP says that i must have a BT line to get service.
Many thanks.

If your ISP says you need a BT line then you'll need to have a line with BT, which means paying line rental to them.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
Que sera, sera.

Yes, normally you can change who you pay your line rental too without it affecting your internet connection.
If you post who your ISP is and who you are moving line rental too (if you do), someone can confirm what would happen in that particular instance.

But it's not recommended!Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
