We've had Freesat fir about 6 months now and when viewing via Freesat, in the top left corner in white, is EC/HDMI 1 I don't think it has always been there. I'm tempted to say "sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't", but of late, it is there continually. We grown used to it but my son thinks I may have pressed a button on the HUMAX control. Rather than make matters worse by trying everything, maybe someone might be able to enlighten me how it can be removed please.

It will be a button on your TV that you have pressed, not the Humax. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Is it a Panasonic TV? If so pressing "i" on the TV remote should get rid of it.0

Well blow me!. Yes it is a Panasonic TV which has freeview built in, but being in am area (Weymouth and poor reception area) we have very few stations at our disposal, hence Freesat. It was the "i" on the Freeview remote that was causing the EC.HDMI 1 to show, now pressed it has disappeared. Thanks again. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. It will most likely be a button on your TV Remote Control, let us know the make of your TV.0
