Don't forget whoever you hire will have your house keys and full access to your house and beloved pets. Not something I would be happy with on the back of a noticeboard advert.

My dogsitter has just phoned to tell me that she is going travelling later this year - so after all that I will be in the same boat as you !
To be honest, I think that I am going to try and leave them - they have each other, they have an array of toys, they are walked morning and evening and I can get someone in to let them out halfway during the day for 5 mins.
I might set up a camera though like uolypool

What about building an outdoor kennel in your gardan.. do you have room, you could just buy a shed and put dog beds in it,
i know my neighbour keeps his 2 black labs in an outdoor shed with a run and he is out the house from 6.30am - 5.00pm monday to friday... just an idea ?0
