Does anyone do this and can you recommend any websites please?
I have a chest freezer now and am keen to fill it with decent quality meat, especially poultry.
Thanks in advance

Yes. Great Bircham Foods. All organic and sourced from the Sandringham Estate. Dont bother with Riverford as it is uber expensive in comparison.0

Hiya,
You could try this site:- www.bigbarn.co.uk
When you type in your post code you'll see a map and a list of all sorts of organic suppliers near you. Some may allow ordering on-line, others will be close enough to deliver, and some are going to be close enough for you to just pop in.

As this has dropped down the OS board, i've moved it to shopping and groceries to see if you get some other suggestions over here
Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Great thread, im looking for organic free range chicken online at a great price. Does anyone know of any good places?0

Aldi sell free range chickens, though they are not organic. they are very reasonably priced and very tasty. (Can't remeber how much - as still wading through ones I bought a while ago in the whoops section at Asda)

We occasionaly order meat from Donald Russel. It is not cheap, but it is great quality meat and they do have offers.
I adore their chicken legs especially. And steak of course, but chicken is more affordable obviously..
They deep freeze it within hours from butchering and deliver to you in a special box to keep it that way.0 -
