Fresh is so much better than frozen, there is no doubt it ruins the meat!

Nonsense! We eat plenty of delcious meat from the freezer - I do prefer fresh meat I have frozen myself to buying frozen meat though

May not be everyones cup of tea, but I have found that Morrisons meat is very good. Although this may be store or region specific?

The quality is good and the price is good too.

Had a look and that butcher seems very impressive. Will give them a try once I've used up the contents of my freezer.

    Thanks

Abel & Cole are an online fruit & veg box company & they do Soil Association organic free range & just free range poultry (plus other meat & also fish). There is a postcode checker on their website so you can see if they deliver in your area. ...and I can recommend the fruit, veg & dairy too!

i've not ordered online from them yet but have had their meat before when we've been on holiday in Minehead. Their prices are competitive and they seem to actually care about the animals/meat

I used to use Donald Russel a fair bit (whe I was more flush than I am now) but I find www.ashtonsbutchers.co.uk is very good - still top quality but a bit cheaper. Plus I dont miss the amount of junk mail Russell staff pack in the boxes for shirts and ties!
