If you have time, please take a look at the items being sold by seller fredbumhole (I kid you not!). He has excellent feedback, but I'm not convinced the autographs are not done by him and his friends!

I've never heard of virtually all of those names! Clearly I've been missing out!

I recall the author J K Rowling remarking that some of the signed copies of her own books on ebay have signatures that are nothing remotely like hers.

Undoubtedly there are a huge numbers of fake autographs in circulation. Personally, I'd never buy anything 'autographed' on ebay, no matter how much authenticity a seller claimed.

They look pretty genuine to me, comparing them to other images on respected autograph sites.

Ask yourself, considering how unknown/unimportant most of the people are, would anyone go to the trouble of faking their autographs? Most of them will probably happily send you autographed pics as long as you send a SAE, and they often attend conventions, so their scribbles aren't worth all that much anyway.
