    Good Morning folks,

    This weekend I intend to

Check the online banking and transfer any spare cash to savings (if I'm lucky)
Check contents of the freezer and cupboards to sort dinners/lunches for next week
Put some items on ebay as they're doing a free listings weekend
    Make some soup/stew/bread and stuffing
Write a list for the shopping and stick to it
Have a glass or 2 of red tonight
Gym first thing in the morning

I hope you all have a good weekend

  • Stitchy - how was Oxford? And did you buy yourself lovely things over the 2 days?:D
Oxford was lovely thank you! Will certainly go there for Christmas shopping this year, and just 20 minutes from DS2's house. Their Park & Ride scheme needs serious sorting out though. It wouldn't encourage anyone to use it!

I did buy myself lots of lovely things and spent much too much money. The eight inch Swarovski zip for a "corset belt" cost £12 alone, but I can reuse it if I ever get rid of the corset and it is rather beautiful :D

Morning all! Not been on this board for a few days :o got totally engrossed in all of the recipe ideas on the old style board! Anyway, this weekend looks quite busy for me.....

    Today have already:
    cleaned kitchen
    done washing up
    fed dogs/child/me ;)

    Still to do:
[STRIKE]sort out washing and put a load on[/STRIKE] - aiming to dry naturally.... :ogot tumbledried
[STRIKE]go and see my dad (still not feeling too good :( )[/STRIKE] done x2
[STRIKE]check online banking[/STRIKE] transferred to bills account so empty again!
[STRIKE]enter the kitchen...... am trying for lots of batch cooking today and some of Twinks hobnobs :D[/STRIKE] made quorn and leek pie (yummy), hobnobs that turned into flapjack lol, 2kg of tomato sauce to use with bolognaise today, prepared and cooked: 2 bags of parsnips, 1 cauliflower, 2 bags of chantilly carrots, 2 bags of french beans and attacked the chicken and froze for chicken and leek pie at some point

quite a successful day I think! Also played Harry Potter x box with DS for a couple of hours

I think thats enough for today but the rest of the jobs I have to do are:
[STRIKE]finish filling and sanding DS's walls ready to be painted[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]order him some blinds[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]clean all skirting boards and paint them before new floor goes down[/STRIKE]
sort out and take photos of the pile of things in the front room to go onto eb*y
+ IRONING!! How could I forget that lol

If I manage to do half of this I'll be doing well :rotfl: anyway I'll aim high and see how far I fall!! :D

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend :T:T
  • Morning all

Thanks to Pixie for starting us off. You guys have been up and busy. Puts me to shame :o

    Today I will:
    Check bank balances
    Check surveys
Food shopping - will stick to the list :D
Make soup for lunch (leek and potato, yummy!)
Watch the rugby (hoping England win, otherwise next weekends trip to my French friends will be unbearable!)
    List items on Ebay
    Declutter
Make dinner (Toad in the hole)

    Have a great weekend everyone

Yesterday was a bit odd for me as there was a nasty accident outside my work, where an old boy drifted onto the wrong side of the road and had a head-on with a lorry. Lots of drama/road closed, lost about two hours of working time as couldn't stop shaking. Not a very nice sight on one of the busiest days of the month for me, well, any day for that matter!

Hope things are better today for you, Josie. How sad. Totally shakes you up seeing something like that. :(

    xx
