Whoops...:o I missed that..
You would think that EH would have repaired the battle scar on the rear bumper.:)0 -
Aye, thats the one, I tried to post a link but this site would not let me.
I spotted that whatever it is on the bumper and will make it part of the deal to fix it0 -

I don't think that it is " on " the bumper, it looks like the top coat of paint is missing to me, possibly something rubbed/scratched it.0 -
Probably a bit far away from you but http://www.arnoldclark.com/used-cars/renault/laguna/2.0-dynamique-5-dr/2007/ref/arnep-12677/
No way they'll get £4700 for it.0 -
In some areas these Avensis are popular as taxis so check the back/boot0

Again thanks everyone, your feedback has given me focus (no pun intended!) and moved me toward this car, one I had never even thought to look at as I was blinkered by the Ford/Vauxhall, must be diesel because of the mpg mentality. Who would have thought at the start of this a petrol Toyota would be the one I'm considering most (although if a diesel variant were at the same price with the cam done I would still go for that)
@Inactive - I had a chat with EH and the mark is no longer there, so I assume they're patched that up (but will be very aware tomorrow).
@Kilty - After my Xsara I'm dodging French cars like the plague, but thanks anyway.
@getmore4less - I will, but thankfully I'm dragging the family along and if theres one thing that will not get past them its a ropey back seat!0 -
Fair enough, it was reliable for the 6k miles I drove in it though (it's my old car the one I linked to)0
-
hehe, you did alright
@wba31 - I just spotted I didn't reply to you helpful suggestion. We looked at a Civic but it was ruled out because every now and again when the mother in law is over she's relegated the the rear middle seat and on the Civic it was, lets say not comfy at all! Getmore4less, I think the back seats get more of a check than the rest of the car!!0 -
It doesn't matter if it is an ex-taxi. Taxi's tend to be extremely well serviced (they are the only source of income for the owner, so get regularly serviced).Never Knowingly Understood.
