  • All i've spent is £6 on a haircut. I've stayed in all day just so that i'm not forced into parting with any money...
Remember, more than money, the most important thing is love. Love is what makes us rich.
  • No spend day for me but only cos it was oh turn to buy food shopping - bargain one from Kwik save at £63 (normally over a hundred at asda) and we had lunch at local chinese buffet (also thanks to oh) yummy, having quiet cheap nite in with cider on offer at kwik save and x factor and im a celebrity (great tv for once)!

Proud to be dealing with my debts!

Life is like a ferrari - it goes too fast - but thats ok because I can't afford it anyway!
  • Hmmm...loads today but Saturday is always expensive.
Spent £62 at Asda which I was quite pleased with as included £6 on Christmas shopping and £6 on alcohol (also staying in for a Strictly Come Dancing / X factor / I'ma celebrity night - the joys of reality TV!)
£15 on petrol and £20 on miscellaneous rubbish for school prizes that will hopefully last a while as school don't refund but they are a great incentive to children.
  • Hi everyone, have spent £4.50 today. That was for my son's football. Nothing else. Guess what, I've forgot to keep a running total this week, but I'm sure I'm within the amount. I've been bit poorly too, so using that as my excuse. x

    Greedy sod aren't I.

But that £32.40 is for one bra :( better than £36 & £10 petrol I suppose.

Anyway going to have my supper, free toast (well the bread was) and got some free decaf tea bags so will have them. Might feel less guilty :D

Seeing as I already had to spend just ordered my car tax online aswell. May aswell now broken my NSD.

  • Spent a whole £0 today, am very pleased with myself. Husband bought me ticket to watch football with him (they lost, but still had a good afternoon), so that kept me out of trouble and we've got loads of food in so no need to pop out for any supplies.

Tomorrow should hopefully be another £0 day for me (and us in fact). Going out for a drive tomorrow morning (hubby's offered to drive to save me petrol)to have a look at areas we are thinking of moving too next year and then in the afternoon we are going around the out/in-laws as it's his mums birthday. But will let you know...
  • Nothing for the Spikes today :j DD went to a birthday party so I did my usual cookies iced with the child's name and DD decorated a blank card, so we got away scot-free there, literally! Used up a bit of diesel and petrol dropping and collecting, but Nathaniel and I spent the child-free afternoon (they were all out, result!) making the Renault sparkly clean for listing on eBay tomorrow (free car listing weekend - we're getting the hang of this DFW lark!). Similar cars are going for £1000+ so fingies xxed. Also had to collect Sd and a friend from the bus stop so a bit of fuel used today but unavoidable where we live.

Tomorrow I have a fab day of glueing and glittering lined up with DD (four and a half, awwww! She's yummy :p ), a lasagne I made a few weeks ago then froze is sitting quietly defrosting for tomorrow night's supper and Nathaniel and I have had a brilliant evening trying out various songs so sneakily getting in practice for New Year's Eve karaoke at our house with friends. Current hot faves are We've Got Tonight (as long as I can hit Sheena's high notes, bit hit and miss) or I Knew You Were Waiting by George and Aretha, which only narrowly avoided being the song to which I walked up the aisle!
If you can't be a good example, be a dire warning :D

    MBNA charges and interest frozen
    Egg/DLC repayment agreement reached

    Feels like progress!
