Hi Moozie, hope the shoping went well.I spent £28.75 in Tesco. This was made up of £14.50 in Tesco vouchers(that I have been saving GRRR),£8.38 on bank card(still have a few pounds in bank!) and the rest in cash.Only got essentials veg, milk and some petrol to last till Thursday. Still really angry but nothing else to be done. The good thing(!!!!!!!!!)is that I still don't feel well so have not been tempted in any way whatsoever.(still have chocolate here from last week)think its last tablets but mouth is VERY sore so not really eating. Still its an ill wind and all that sort of stuff eh? Hope you are having a nice weekend.

A lady in a Land Rover drove into the back of newmum1 yesterday :( Thankfully neither she nor her daughter were injured seriously but the back clearly needs checking out :(

Just thought I'd answer in case newmum1 doesn't see it anniestar.

Right, well here I am after a heavy shopping day :D I am really pleased with myself as although I visited my 'usual' shops (Wallis, Next, M&S), I opted to spend my money in different places ;) Everything looks and feels nice to wear and got much more than I had planned as I got lots of things that were reduced :j It felt so good hunting down the reduced items and they had them in my size too which is not usually the way!

Anyway, I've just added all my spending up so here's the list...
    1. Black trouser suit & top from BHS £50.92 (all reduced & 20% off day :D)
    2. 2 tops from Debenhams £32 (both reduced)
    3. Black striped trouser suit from Matalan £41
    4. 2 mugs for our new house £4 (edited as forgot these!)
    5. Newspaper £1.40
    6. Water £0.95
    7. 2 nail varnishes from Boots £13
    8. Lunch £2.75
    9. Shoes re-heeled £5.50
    10. Pound shop stuff £5 (incl those butter biscuits which unless I stop eating, I won't fit into my new clothes :rotfl: )
    11. total £156.52

I feel really happy with how today has gone. I know I went £6.52 over what I had planned but that's OK, the budget can take it :) Have not had a day like this for a very long time and won't be having another for probably longer but it really does make all the weeks of scrimping and saving worth it! :j

Anniestar I wish there was something I could say to make it all go away. You are going through it at the moment :( Just know I, and many others, are thinking of you and wish you better xxx
