epson r320 printer, engineers cd

my printer is not working and I have seen a cd that is supposed to re-set the printer, anyone used one ?

    Hi

    No need to buy anything, google SSC service utility, download and install it.

    Then you need to select your printer, and reset the protection counter.

    This will reset the counter for the waste ink pads, and you are supposed to replace these at the same time, but can usually reset once without problems, but keep an eye out for ink leaking from the printer!
