Trust deed affected by marriage?

I own a property jointly with my partner, but in unequal shares as specified in a trust deed.
If we marry, does the trust deed still stand, or does it become void and the property become 50/50 owned?

  • The best person to speak to would be your trustee although I would think that there wouldnt be any change due to the fact that there is no increase or decrease in income, just your relationship status. T take it that you would have had to buy out the equity in the property or pay £500 on top of the TD to protect the property (if it is currently in neg equity).
I would post this on another board though as I could be completely wrong.
