Well i have to say i'm absolutely appalled by the customer service from this magazine I subscribed in January and in february recieved a copy of a random scrapbook magazine so i emailed and 5 days later they apologised saying they would send out my issue 1 well 3 weeks later nothing so i emailed again and 5 days later got an email apologising and saying they would order me a new copy . Phoned yesterday as still not got it to be told oh we don't have any and don't think we'll be getting anymore well thanks but when were you going to tell me to which the reply was eeeeerrrrrrrr and that was it. Subscribe and never miss an issue that's a laugh subscribing made me miss it i saw it in the shops but didn't buy it because i'd subscribed. Never again.

Sorry for the rant but mad doesn't even begin to cover it.

  • I wasn't as impressed with the second issue, there was not much in it that interested me unfortunately! I also thought it was bad that they didn't mention in the second issue that there was a mistake on the measurements for the Russian Doll bag charm.

Craftygranny I would be very angry as well, I'd cancel the subscription. They should have given you an apology if nothing else.

    oh no how terrible!
I seem to be having a run of bad customer service at the moment so maybe I passed it on to you :(

I would think an apology is the least you could expect! If you stick with it, fingers crossed they will pull their fingers out!!

I subscribed because it was cheap at £6.49 per quarter. I haven't done any of the projects yet although i do have the jeans ready to make the bag. God knows when i will get round to it though :o

I've told them i'm cancelling as they haven't kept to their side of the bargain . I have to put my request in writing apparantly so might be next year before i get a refund at their speed of service. I did get issue two delivered but i agree it's rubbish so i've told them i'll send it back if they send an sae . I still can't believe they weren't even going to tell me i wasn't getting what i've already paid for.

So I'm not the only one getting appalling customer service from this bunch. I actually subscribed to Simply Cards and Papercraft last year because of the fabulous offer of 3 sets of Promarkers. I had been perfectly happy picking up my copy every month but Promarkers aren't cheap and this was, for me, not to be missed! After emailing back and forth every month since then and being assured that they were waiting for new stock and I would definitely be receiving them within 28 working days (then another 28 working days etc), I have today had a final answer to my latest email which almost accuses me of pretending I hadn't received them even though all 'outstanding orders have been fulfilled' and 'none being returned by the Post Office as undeliverable'. I have been given the choice of some other 'gifts' including a copy of a cardmaking magazine from last christmas. I am furious! I had intended to take out a subscription to Simply Homemade but thought I'd wait to see how this one was resolved first. Guess what....I think not! (Haven't been able to find issue 3 in the shops btw).

Has anyone got Issue 3? What's it like? I got no 1 which I liked, got no 2 which I didn't, so haven't bothered to get no 3. Anybody out there like to tell us whats in it?
