Just a short note of thanks for everybody's help.
She's decided to go home later today and I do think she'll be ok. She wasn't interested in helping at all and admits her depression is quite bad. I tried to express that I felt staying in bed longer than necessary (she only got up for about 4 hours yesterday) wasn't helping, but she feels she wants to live her way, and that's fair even if I wouldn't choose the same. she's getting about ok, and coped with the stairs, and said she'd help with any tasks ...but didn't
in any case she has felt that she's shown willing, and I think that's quite good. she is more mobile that she realises. 0
