    Utter rubbish.

Couldn't have said it better myself. A lot of mice use light transmission not radiofrequency, and the amount of RF energy emitted from the ones that do would be a tiny fraction of that emitted by other computer equipment such as monitors, which are considered not to pose a hazard to health anyway.

Babihutan, I'm sure you meant well, but in future, perhaps you'd like to check up this sort of thing with the anti-hoaxing site Snopes (https://www.snopes.com), where it's already been reported as an email doing the rounds. Mind you, its advice on using keyboard shortcuts rather than relying solely on a mouse is good (it helps avoid repetitive strain injury), but that applies to any mouse, including the "old model of mouse (with the tracking ball)"

Why are people so gullible to still post this kind of !!!!!!? Optical mice work with either LED or in some cases laser and although light is a form of EM radiation, so is any kind of visible light. Unless you are using your hand as a mousepad then it isn't even exposed to the radiation/light. And even if it was it's harmless, otherwise we should all live in darkness in Faraday cages.

    Hi,

Went to order the mouse on that site, everything was going fine total £13.76 including free delivery, but at checkout they wanted to charge me in total £22 for delivery to N ireland. Im fuming about this as postage costs to N ireland as the same as they are to rest of Uk, what a let down,
