Hi all,
I have installed a Razer Barracuda sound card and headset but have a problem with playback.
For some reason when using the headset's microphone in game, other people can hear the game's sounds from my PC. Also, if I play music on my PC with any external speakers disconnected and chat to someone using the microphone, they can also hear the music.
When I check the Recording Devices in Windows 7, I can see the green 'volume bars' jumping up and down to the music's volume levels.
Please could you tell me whats wrong? I have uninstalled numerous times and downloaded the latest drivers.
I have submitted a ticket to Razer but still waiting for a reply.
Thanks,
Paul.

Update:
I received a reply from Razer just asking how I connected the headset and they are now closed until Monday. I really would like to get this problem sorted before then as I have an international gaming match on Sunday evening.
Thanks for any help given.0 -
Look at your recording & playback controls again, somewhere there will be an option for "Stereo Mix", "What U Hear", or similar - remove the check mark from that slider and all should be well.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0

Checked numerous times now and cannot see those options. Just to confirm, I am running Windows 7.
