Looks very professional and well laid out. They do use two servers, but then so do I.
Would need to do some more digging first before I ordered anything and oh yes win the lottery as their prices are too high.:A

2 new members promoting/upping an external site? What a massive coincidence.

    I beg your pardon.?
Please do not make false accusations.
Please provide proof of what you are accusing me of. I take great pride in my honesty and consider your remarks Defamatory.
I originally joined this forum to report an Email scam so just be careful who you insult!

This board gets *LOTS* of people signing up to promote their blogs/sites etc, often followed up by sockpuppet characters who also sign up the same time to say 'oooh yes I agree'. Your post looks just like one of those, rightly or wrongly. It seems to have upset you somewhat from your tone, and that's a shame. As it happens, the usual secondary tactic of sockpuppets is to rant and froth and use legal terms, so you have to be honest, your second post looks that way too. Just saying it as it looks. Maybe it is just a massive coincidence as I said?

If you feel I have defamed you, sue me. I find 'just be careful who you insult' threatening, btw. Doesn't make me warm to you.

    Edit...
Just realised that didn't scan quite how I meant it, it looks harsher in tone than I really intended... let me try again...

A new poster posts to promote his blog with his first post. This happens a lot, it is pretty tedious SEO stuff. The scam report is not especially detailed, it doesn't carry much new information. Just like 'barry scott blogs' were a cynical campaign for a cleaning product, sending agency people out to post on loads of forums to push up link counts.

You then post with a QFT (doubling up the number of instances of his blog name) with your second ever post. It just *LOOKS* sus, and looks are all we have to go on. SEO companies do this ALL THE TIME and it dilutes communities and forums. I can't stand it. Maybe it is a genuine coincidence, maybe not, but going on looks...

Then you post with a rant and threats - this again LOOKS just like many SEO companies do, sheer indignation, etc. For instance see http://www.b3ta.com/links/595011 for a nice fresh instance of an SEO droid doing more or less the same thing when he posted some promo video (the kittens is to replace what he posted).

Maybe you are the real deal, maybe not, we just haven't seen enough of you to know either way yet. I actually genuinely hope you're a real new member, that it is a coincidence, and that you get involved with the community.

So actually in truth, if you're for real, I do apologise for misreading the signs. Maybe I jump at shadows. Stick around and I'm sure we'll get on just grand with time :)
  • OK let us end this.
1 You are suspicious of me. Why?
2 You reply with another insult to my integrity, yet you do not know me.
3 Why did you start this in the first place?
4 Maybe you do "feel threatened" by the truth.
5 I reiterate that I joined this forum in the first place to report a Scam, not to be accused of something I have not done.
6 I am quite prepared to chat 1 - 1 to fix the matter and stop this debate.
7 Do you always welcome new users in this way?

    No Problem.
    Consider it at an end.
I actually can't post the links to the bogus site due to being a new member.
I did telephone Tesco Customer Services and emailed them about it.
They phoned me back later to thank me for bringing it to their attention.
The scam takes you to a webpage in Trinidad & Tobago.
It looks very convincing as it uses all of the Tesco graphics.
    take a look at 3xws.trindeal dot com/images
Very convincing till you see the part where it asks for driving licence or passport.
    David.

We're at peace. I deal a lot with web-based scams etc, so do appreciate your technical observations. You'll enjoy the 'techie stuff' board, some real insightful folks over there too.

    All the best
