sorry, multi-posting. There's a gum tree MS ad for douglas stafford, with a specific email address. Looking for a video ms. Doesn't read quite as much of a scam as they usually do, but it is gumtree...

Cheesy peeps! Is anyone else laughing as hard as I am at GFKs latest email? Sign up to an 18 month phone contract, for a fee commensurate with 40 mins work? Ummm. Sod off!

I did wonder if that would be a great way for the said company to boost their income by paying for a mystery shop project whilst gaining a fair few new customers.

I don't have the email but shall assume the fee is less than the comission you could get from Top Cash Back?
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Herewith the ad in full. I've highlighted the bit that made me wonder - plus no mention of needing to own recording equip.

Douglas Stafford are recognised industry leaders in evaluating the performance of businesses through Mystery Shopping, Training, Client Satisfaction Analysis and in providing the solutions and know-how to improve it. Our bespoke research and training programmes have created winning performance for businesses across a wide range of market sectors, from automotive to retail, property, finance and leisure.

I am looking to recruit a video-based mystery shopper to fulfill a wide range of interesting assignments. This involves filming the visit with a covert video camera.

    Do you:

Have 1-5 full weekdays to spare between 9-5?

Have access to a vehicle, and hold a valid UK drivers licence?

    Like a bit of travelling?

Are computer literate and have access to a PC/the internet?

If the answer to all the above is yes please e-mail steveheald@douglasstafford.com to receive further information. You can earn up to £200 a day working the assignments we currently have available.

We currently have a vacancy in your local area so please make contact urgently. In order to direct your application please advise your home location in your response.

Well I just upgraded two days ago so had this been sent previously I would have done it! Obv don't think would be worth it of you werent already going to do so but if you are then it's probably worth it! I got an iPhone and cashback was not great on it, most networks had the same tariffs so I was happy to upgrade!

You have to take what's offered at the time though - no scope for shopping around, asking your current provider and negotiating the new/old contract providers down.

I guess you could accept the job, and then just drop it if you weren't offered a good deal.

    OK. Talked myself round!

Hi, I'm new to mystery shopping, recently registered with RE but having problems with their website. Basicly I can't view available assignments, I managed to see a list once for few seconds and it disappeared. Now when I click on available assignments there is only empty list. Is it because I'm a new shopper?
