I'm sorry jen_br if you're new here, I don't recognise your name, but if you're posting an alert, please can you make sure that it hasn't already been posted...

I for one don't mind these alerts and also the last Gfk job Jen reported. They can be lucrative and I have picked up a 3 figure job in the past. Jen has helped me out of a fix in the past (remember the BARE fiasco) and is a regular contributor. :)

The point was - this had already been posted THREE DAYS earlier... So it's not really worthy of a new Alert is it? :( If she is a regular contributor she would surely have seen the original post...

Although possibly misread or misunderstood the original post? - This really is going to get too anal if people are berated for an individual mistake.

When people alert for jobs on RE etc, they turn up a day later in Yorkshire. Is it just me or is it the same for other Yorkshire people? It's getting on my nerves now! These electricals and bowling places and sandwiches etc. I ain't seeing jack!

PS. Be warned with Bare phone calls. If the company you are calling do not pick up, they expect you to do it again the week after and not get paid anything for the first attempt. Was on phone for 1 hour, the company didn't pick up, and the woman from Bare expected me to do it again the week after. No one picked up, and she was like do it again. I told her where to shove that stupid job!

I use my standard browser on my HTC desire????

What network are you on? It might just be Orange.

I took mine into the shop I bought it from after I couldn't get on RE and one other forum website (both did the same thing, just reloaded the homepage when I tried to sign in). I showed the guy me signing into the forum and he said the website was rejecting the browser, and I'd have to download another browser. He suggested Opera and I downloaded it there and then, tried logging into the forum and it worked, then tried RE once I got out the shop and that worked too.

I sometimes get that problem with not being able to log in from the homepage still with Opera (mainly when I have a low signal) but the googling and going via the other page thing works then. Tried the standard browser a few times since and it still doesn't work regardless with that.

I'm on o2. did have a problem when they changed the site but have it bookmarked now and it's always fine for me.
