  • Not worthy of an alert as it seems to be a daily occurrence but there's more dropped eggs on ESA :rotfl:

Well, all mine in the Dundee area are gone to someone desperate obviously! One dropped earlier but snapped up by someone:p

On gyp I only ever get 2 types of food places to go and sometimes a phone shop (apparantly been let go for stamps) - I've noticed on the front page here that there are loads of different types of place allocated to people - do I need to email them and ask why I don't get anything or is it a regional thing?
I have the same problem with aba - never get anything from them!

The ones picking them up have either missed the "all-inclusive" bit or are prepared to work for peanuts. I'm going to enjoy the phone calls :D

If you think that 38 items is time consuming I would steer clear. Based on experience with several other companies the fee for that many items would be about half a gapburger fee...

Good God will def steer clear of this then - it takes a lot for me to do a gypburger these days (dieting and all) and I find their questionnaires a pleasure!

Quite a lot of them seem to be England only as I never see them up here, but did get a new client today to do with mailboxes
Some are invite only for experienced MSers too

Well, as we mentioned earlier, anyone doing all that faffing about and egg buying and crisp squashing for a pittance plus the reports after etc and the audit bit must be bonkers, well under the minimum wage I reckon if you add the travel etc.

Even just take the petrol off and it's a pittance never mind the time in the car!! :(
  • I got it too. Anyone know how much they pay? If so PM me and let me know. I know how much I think they should be paying as I do lots of similar work but what worries me is the email possibly should have said:

    Dear Shopper,

We have also begun paying in peanuts for our extensive audit work. Our clients are unhappy as they are not getting the data they need. Our existing auditors have told us where to stick our audits therefore we are looking to expand the team in the hope that you may be stupid enough to complete them.

Please note as a special thank you for your assistance we will allocate ten egg shops to your account upon completion of each audit.

Would this be the ESA pricing thing that requires a scanner perchance? If so, ESA charge for "rental" of this equipment which you are supposed to earn back with regular work with them, thereby forcing you to take any work to earn the money for the "rental". Sounds VERY dodgy to me.

Not sure. The invitation is very vague. The "test" assignment is just a bog standard covert price and promotion check...
