It happens because there's no one in the office this early to run the payroll, so the system thinks it hasn't been paid and has automatically bumps it on to the next pay date.

They'll do it once they get in and it will go back to normal.

Don't forget though, RE money will be in the bank on Tuesday the 31st, as it only leaves them on the date on your page!
  • Most shops in a day = 31
Longest distance travelled in a day = 412 miles (not even starting and finishing at home - was part of a 6 day trip)
Most unpleasant string of shops = 10 underground sandwiches in 3 hours, done on foot.

I've just had a couple of days off work and on Monday I broke my record and did 18 visits and yesterday a mere 16 with all reports easily done by midnight. All FFF. Both days were done in 2 adjacent towns (as in ones that kind of merge rather than any real drive away) except for the coffee shop bribe which was too good to turn down yesterday and I was in need of the sit down & drink at the end of the day! They were all quick easy reports, so I couldn't do that many for some if the visit I do.

It is easier if you live in big cities when I only did RO, I used to get edinburgh shops, train stations, clothing etc and I could get a good 15-20 shops easily. Considering Music, clothing, trains etc only take 10-20 min a shop.

But its the distance ones that hurt-- Driving to the highlands of scotland and only being able to do a few jobs because it took you 4-5 hours to get there lol. But if im doing jobs like that I make a few days out of it and I call up all the companies and see if anyone has anything to do.

Sometimes you can walk away with a good profit day that even pays for your hotel!

I don't envy anyone who did 15 jobs yesterday it was hailing in scotland!

Even that wouldn't work, as to get 15 a day you'd have to travel large distances and then take off the petrol/public transport costs. And to do 15 a day everyday you'd have to travel to the other side of the country for jobs, and I can't see anyone fitting 15 jobs a day in with all that travel time, or making a profit with all that petrol/train fares etc.

    People do....agreed....I do.

Anyone had trouble with the test for the phone jobs on GFK? I've emailed them and rang them but just getting no response. I'm supposed to be out doing them now, as my Son is only in nursery for the morning. Grrr

31 jobs WOW! Whilst I'd happily do the jobs I'd struggle to get all the reports wriitten as well. How do you do it?

Mileage wise, I once did a 900+ mile day but only because I needed to drive to Essex to swap cars with my sister and then get over to Southampton for a party afterwards. It was a bloody long day, and I could only justify it by doing as much MSing as I could on the way to cover the petrol :rotfl:

Hi, I'm doing some of the GFK MS e-mails. If I e-mail the same company with two different enquires, do I need (and can I) use two different names and e-mail addresses? I asked GFK twice but haven't heard...

Not looked at these, are the restrictions not in the briefings as to how many you can do?

I did this last year, but only after gfk phoned me up trying to cover the jobs and asked how many e-mail accounts I had. Was done with their agreement. May also depend if it's customer or non-customer enquiries.
