    Anybody...Whens gyps next pay date?

Should be end of the month at some point. They were late last/this month so it was at the beginning of May but I presume that won't impact on this month.

I did some of the Bare jewellery phone calls today. For the one where I had to ask for allergy advice, the staff member was perfectly pleasant, polite and helpful. She said that she would like to double check with her manager, as she wouldn't like me to suffer a reaction, and asked if she could call me back. She hadn't taken my name or done absolutely everything the report asks, but she would have recieved a good write up for her nice manner and willingness to help.

When the call back came, it was like a check list of the MS report - suddenly she asked my name and used it in every sentence, she mentioned the member's club, the website, the cleaning instructions of the products.... I guess the jewellery store managers know what the scenarios are for this month! :rotfl:

Daughter is pestering me to do these.
Does the reimbursement cover the purchase of a bracelet (or anything in fact) because they look a bit pricey to a tight wad like myself.

It just about gets you the basic charm bracelet (these are about £50 - 55 in the silver). You can definitely get other things for under the reimbursement, though.

I think it would cover you for a charm or a leather bracelet. Please bear in mind the exchange rate changes all the time. The first time I did one of these, I worked out that I would get about £48 with the rate on the day of purchase, but when I got paid it only equated to about £36 so I ended up making a loss.

Has anyone actually managed to get a dsicount on one of these visits? I ALWAYS ask and they ALWAYS say no! Boohiss.

Is it just me or has it gone all quiet on the mystery shop front? I did 1 this week and that's been it for me!

Could someone tell me if there are specific answers Gapbuster need to pass their application process? I have tried registering on numerous occasions but I'm always told I don't fit the profile they're looking for. The only thing I can think of is that they don't want someone who works for other mystery shopping companies - is this right?

I do loads of mystery shopping visits and am very good at them and it's a little disappointing that I can't register for one of the bigger companies...
