Quick question - for the company that can't be named.

If you have to raise the fact that their 'may be a potential issue' in an audit, are you to specify to the duty manager what that issue is?

Yes. Most of them are very understanding. I try to play it down and come across as though I'm not blaming them for the problem. Most Duty Managers will be able to tell you why they've failed and you're expected to report back to the company what they say.

You just have to make sure that you are careful in the way that you are saying it, so that you don't come across as being pleased that they have failed.
There was quite a stern email that went round a few months back, where people had been like "ha ha, you've failed" to the managers, which is of course very unprofessional.

Yeh, exactly what Monkey says. Also, I believe that there are a lot of fails this time round.

Hello there, I'm fairly new, but don't worry I've read the first couple of pages of the thread and all of thread 19 and 18. I'm working backwards and my bedtime reading is now thread 17. Thanks for all the info. I'm getting itchy fingers over the Bank Holiday. I keep thinking I should be checking the websites or I might be missing out. :)

    Thanks guys!
I just told them that the wrong gold spot may have been shown but said that I wasn't 100% sure and it may have been the right one.

The email said one thing and the documentation another :O

I think the length of the trailers was alright- I hope i got the times right. Its so hard to time it and watch at the same time!

Hi guys, are some MS companies better for those in the North? I've just signed up to Gap and RE, but I've noticed that people talk about doing Gap burgers a lot. If that's all they've got I'm not really interested, I'm a veggie.

If there's anyone in Yorkshire who is into MS and knows what sites are the best/worst for our area I'd be really interested in hearing about them.

Am in York and do MS for quite a few places. Gap do stuff that isn't burgers as well. I do RE, TNS, Bare, a little RA (don't seem to have much here), React, GFK, some ESA, Grass Roots, PiP, ABAi and Tern. Have done one for Amber Arch and nothing for Helion.

I check their websites most days and just see what comes up - for some I am prepared to travel further but obviously depends on the fee.

Also Yorkshire obviously quite big and what I do in and around York might be no where near you of course.

Thanks for that, that's quite a list. True, Yorkshire is a big place! I just wanted to weed out the companies that centre on London and the south east really, I signed up for MS years ago and found that all of the work offered was down south, so never did anything for them. It put me off the whole MS thing, because it was a lengthy sign-up and I checked the site every day for weeks, hoping they'd have something for me. Massive waste of time.

I'm in Hull and it probably wouldn't be worth it for me to travel, I don't have a car.

Wow, have to say that I have just completed a shop for Gaps new trial client and I really enjoyed it. I know people were moaning about the fee but I found the shop so much more enjoyable than TNS's similar client. I know the reimbursement makes up half the fee but at least I got to pick up some "treats" that I would not normally buy.

I was quite surprised too... nice short questions too, not a lot of writing to be done :)
