We are writing to inform you there has been an unfortunate delay with your payment this month.
At present, payment for all successfully completed March assignments are due to be paid on Monday the 2nd May.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
Kind Regards,
UK Shopper Team
wondered what had happened to them this month!
I am in France at the moment and a bit confused, it is a bank holiday in England on Monday isn't it? So I presume that means it will be Tuesday when we get money from them?!!0 -
Totally un MS related but I thought some of you might be interested. I recently applied for a job as a courier - you know the people who deliver you your NEXT purchases etc. Well I was successful, which is great and was offered my first day's work the other day:
Deliver 60 parcels in one day (YES ONE DAY) and get paid 45p per parcel. No mileage allowance. All included in the 45p per hour rate. If people not home, leave note, they will call you when they're home to arrange alternative delivery date - so another trip but no extra fee - still the 45p per parcel until it gets to the recipient.
I figured it would probably take me 12 hours (including the times I would have to go back to the people who weren't home, at a convenient time to suit them). Who knows how many trips I would have to take?
Total pay £27.00
Funnily enough, I turned this job down.
I shall certainly be sticking to MSing. I just accepted a little circuit of assignments today for next week which shall take me an hour plus 40 minutes for entering results for almost twice the courier fee.
Has anyone on here ever done this type of work? I use to do Avon which worked out at about 30p per hour after all the work I had to put into it (10 years ago).
Anyway, everyone have a lovely Royal Wedding Day tomorrow and don's start on the fizz too early :beer:0 -

Does it mean they will make payment on the 2nd, or that we should receive it on the 2nd. Either way it will be Tuesday or later. Don't think I'm due to get much from them this payday.0 -

Dont start on that Royal Wedding lark...... been nothing but on the TV all day :rotfl:
But the courier work, I did apply for DHL@Home before. I went for the interview and all that, and then they told me the rates. Its one of those pocket money jobs, or something just to get you out of the house because you hardly ever make profit once you account for petrol.mysterious_girl wrote: »But 1 out of 20 of these emails is something I would probably apply for so I would like them to keep coming but it's all just a bit much, 40 times a day!
And if I didnt receive my twice-hourly email from Ted I would get worried. Besides, I dont mind him testing my email service to make sure its all working as it should haha0 -

2 bank holidays in may I'm afraid
2nd May is the "early" BH, whilst 30th May is the "spring" BH.
You wont be getting any money paid in on either of these days, as the banks arent processing the payments. They will resume normal service at 0:01am on 3rd May, so I would look out for the payment on Tuesday morning.0 -
I just got paid by Bare
Didn't remember saying I wanted to be paid using Paypal but must have done.
Quite a healthy balance in there now. Must not fritter it away.0 -

Ironically, I spent the day waiting for a delivery probably from the same people and the tracking says they left a note...did they heck. I was playing poker at the time but the dogs would have let me know someone was at the door. I am one unhappy bunny. Can't even find the purported card, if they say they stuck it through the letterbox, they will defo be caught out as I don't have one.0 -

My delivery guy delivers EVERYTHING! I think he works SE for about 6 different companies. I think thats the only way to make money with them really.
I do a copule of different things, the MSing, a PT job, Sell Usborne Books at Home and do a market stall once a week.0
