Oh I know Proshopper they have been asking for a while, but I spoke to Fran and she is starting to run pilots THAT'S what scares me!....
I do see more companies even bottom slapping companies starting to use video which is good for me.. but again if RE pay peanuts they WILL get monkeys for video.
The equipment is too costly to get the peanuts they pay for a job.
((it would however mean they could get rid of purchase assignments because most of mine are purchase and returns))0 -
Just want to say thanks to everyone for all the alerts today (off to do the thanks on that thread as well), my phone seemed to be forever going off with them

See, that's the thing. I was expecting that question in the report - and it wasn't there. Hence looking for someone that has the coversheet.0 -
Oh dear. I forgot to get the code off the assignment for a gap one...now I can't access it! Does anyone know, if they take a while to get back to me, if they'll let me submit the report tomorrow?
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -

Is this the supermarket that they "sold" the jobs to some of us a few weeks ago by saying there was an excellent fee plus reimbursement, and it now turns out it was a mistake and it's reimbursement and a tiny fee? We’ve had to remove your signature. But in general retail, why will companies pay for video MS when they can glean all they need from written reports in conjuction with CCTV that has audio pick-up?
Video MS-ers are apparently getting huge fees (according to you, jen). Companies who can get the same stuff from their own equipment will not be willing to pay over the odds, surely?0 -
The fees aren't huge, they're just better than report only. But the failure rate is higher, due to the equipment failing or other problems. If the brief isn't followed, there is no fudging. The travelling is far more and you have to write reports, not for every job but for most. I've driven 140 miles today for two jobs and am spending the evening uploading the footage, having written the reports.
I think it's the 1:1 interaction that counts. If I have a salesman looking at my chest, he's staring down the lens of my camera... :-)0 -

Yup, that's the one. The 'trial' project was apparently a myth. Deeply annoyed by that0
