I said you worked for a poor company, nothing personal there. I can't imagine that anyone who works for a company that makes people work for 14 hours a day with minimal support would be overjoyed to do their job.

My apologies. the peril of the written word strikes again. Theye were crap to work for and currently taking Tribunal action against them!

Hope everyone is OK etc. Has anyone in West Yorkshire actually ever seen one of these bowling shops on RE? Got myself a right hot little circuit on Monday, 9 shops, 2 towns, go me! Woohoo.

Go you! I thought I was doing well with my 2 tomorrow and 2 on Friday! Although I timed my Friday ones well as I have to be in that town for Census work so will claim milege for Census :money:

Just to bring up yesterdays topic about ESA egg shop competitors

I was speaking with my gran last night and a suggestion was made. What are your thoughts on informing the competitors about what the ESA client is asking?

Completely agree with Duchy. If you dont like what the jobs asks for then simply dont do it. Whats the point in telling the competitor. Its not going to stop it from happening but it may cause more aggro for the shopper doing them and as far as im concerned for the fee they get its enough trouble as it is for them.

After saying I can't see any decent jobs on RE, I can now see a bowling job that the bairns would love and a really nice pub, but I'm having an operation tomorrow, so I'll be too ill to do them. How annoying!

Hi Beccles, hope the op goes well x

Climb off your high horse and read the question.

I asked for your thoughts. Not declared that was what I was going to do.

And the words "fradulent activity" overrule "client confidentiality" in my books. Especially since ESA don't seem to care.

I wanted an opinion, not a snotty sarcastic comment

You asked what peoples thoughts were and you got peoples thoughts. Now you dont want them so resort to telling someone to climb off their high horse. Yet another example of friendliness on here. I had thought maybe ill hang around a bit and see just how much this place has changed but then I read things like your comment when you had asked for peoples comments and I wonder why I bother.

The convience store chain I actually work for have some of their shops on there. If it was my shop that came up then I would tell them....:o

I think I have been kind of abandoned by RE. Everytime I visit the alerts thread and there are new jobs on RE, I check but there is not any new ones there. For example, the pizza ones just alerted in the alerts thread, no sign at all.

I've only been at this for a fortnight but it really is fastest finger first! Sometimes I get an instant email and by the time I've logged in its gone!
2 came up on GR today, I wanted both but only managed 1 before the other was snaffled. Serves me right for being greedy!

Then I hope you won't be taking any work for ESA in the future.

I took the responce as abrupt, snotty and not addressing what i had asked in a friendly thoughtful way. But rather a snappy comment aimed at me in a negative way, and i admit, i snapped a little as i was having a perfectly nice day and thought the post off hand.

As for you! As said before. Don't like it don't read the thread. I'm sure that if asked of the other members how often i 'snap' the responce will be very rarley but i only ever see you comment when there is an argument and yet again insult the 'friendlyness' of the forum.

I'm perfectly nice. One of the nicest people you could actually wish to meet. But i am getting fed up with your moaning.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

I've already said I have no intention of taking any competitor shops and thats about all they have in my area so its highly unlikely I would do any work for them.
My loyalty would be for my actual employer in this case and I see no problem with that.

Unfortunately its not about loyalty but about confidentiality and contracts. When you signed up to ESA I imagine you would have ticked a box somewhere to say you agree to confidentiality therefore you can't disclose the information to the company.

Unfortunately I think same goes for telling the competitor shops what they are doing. I think it's going to be a case of if you don't think its right or legal or aything else then don't do them :(
