    Hi,

Its not because other MS comps can see what they are doing! I can go and sign up with any client and see everything i want and they can with us ( we have good security so a bit hard ;-) ). Its more so that staff cannot see who is mystery shopping them because then it makes it easier for them to sign up and take the assignment, or know in which date range they will come.

    I hope this makes sense?

I understand that, but a staff member could sign up to all the companies anyway, the same as the MS co's do. All just seems a bit "over-zealous" to me. Some of the MS co's even state who they shop for after a simple google search

yes some of them are signed into contracts like RE posting about their pub chain going for another term.

but imagine if we came on here and said "I was in Farmerbobs shop this weekend Msin it and OMG I found XYZ, and did you know... " eek

Tern have a good relationship with SS and they don't mind the namebeing published either but its the companies choice.

Or something like "I've got a question, I'm off to do a MS at Bobs pharmacy in Coldale at 2pm this afternoon and I don't know what to buy? Its with RE"

Leading of course to the eventual 'brazen' shout of 'Gap' every time you ask for a burger receipt, or the "I'll give you a clue, they always buy Eggs" I heard the manager telling a member of staff in an ESA egg shop (when they were still worth doing)

I don't never do the Gap burger shops but I do have fun pretending I do. Just look like you're timing it-ask for a receipt-sit down and watch as the tables all get a wipe, the loos get cleaned and the manager asks you how your meal is :D

OTOH I popped into the travel agent's today to check exchange rates and the staff member needed reassuring I was "just me today" as she remembered me from the last MS so I can't accept THAT one again -pity as it's only five minutes walk from home.

Oh and don't be scared away if a certain someone here starts moaning about you being an uncertified rep on MSE!
The same person who is also moaning about Lizzie breaking the rules of posting, when himself is breaking the 'rules' (yes I know it's a public forum and just because something is on the Original Post of a thread doesn't really make it enforceable, but at the end of the day if just general etiquette that everyone else seems to respect and adhere to), as the First post clearly says that things such as 'The Green supermarket beginning with A, or The Orange DIY chain with 2 letters...) counts just as much as saying the name of the shop itself.

Don't worry, When I first joined under the company name I got removed 5 times I think because people complained. Now I just pop in and check if anyone called for me, now and then I give my input on a good discussion, like today.
