Car crash - text now received to advise of cash entittlement??

Hi guys

had a car crash summer last year where basically someone went into the side of me. Despite them clearly over the speed limit it appears the blame will go 50/50 (with the 3 people in the other car putting in personal ingury claims :mad::mad: - but thats another story!)

Anyway, I get a text out of the blue today advising that;

'our records indicate that you may be entittled to £3750 for the accident. To pally text free to CLAIM etc etc'

have I got anything to loose my replying or am i best to leave well alone?

Thanks
Saint

    It's a spam text (sent to millions), and the fact you are involved in a claim is the coincidence they are hoping for.

    I agree with Quentin, I get these on a daily basis along with we will claim back your PPIs, and clear your debts.

    I have never had any PPIs and i dont have any debt, just delete it.

  • I get those same texts . I assumed that as My OH has had 2 accidents in the past few years that his details had been poached from some-where (price comparisson websites maybe where I had listed his 2 accidents when getting quotes..)

    I always just delete the texts though as both accidents were settled a long time ago.
    The loopy one has gone :j
  • Next the OP will be asking for help asd they have just had £124,000 taken from their bank lol

    yep i get these too
  • I get them all the time too and have not had any accidents.

    OP: The fact that you have had an accident has nothing to do with this SMS spam.
