Hsbc ppi charges

Hi this is my first post so please bare with me, i have had a credit card with hsbc now for a number of years however recently i have just noticed on my statments a "insurence premum of 79p per £100" i rang them up to question and they asked if i want to cancel and i of course said yes. i then checked back as far as i could on my internet banking which is six months and its on all of them. :eek:. i researched on mse and found a lot of peolpe claiming these back as i do not remember ever signing up to this and its is something i would have never done if given the option. my main problem is though where do i start theres so much information avalible i dont know what the best route for me is

    Hi there

    To make a reclaim with the reasons you have for being mis sold, you can complete the reclaiming questionnaire as shown on link below, send to head office or complaints dept if they have one, and keep copies for yourself as well.

    They have 8 weeks to give a decision, but should keep you informed of the progress of your complaint, good luck, you will find the questionnaire that replaced the template letter on this site on link below - stage one.

    they wont give a refund as appartently ive had it since i took it out 11 years ago but i never saw the charges until recently plus ive changed my account type since then.

    is it still worth going to the obusmen
