insurance help

Last year i got car insurance with me as the main driver and my father and father in law as named drivers - it's cheaper plus they drive the car when we go out as a family. Last year I'm 100% sure I declared my father in law's accidents (he wasn't at fault in any of them) when I got the paperwork through it just gave a brief overview over our names address etc not claims so I thought all was fine.

This year the renewal they've sent doesn't have his accidents on it...so it looks like they don't have a record of it, I have no idea how I remember going through all of the details and putting it all in the comparison site and I'm so careful about checking the details.

Now, I want to declare everything on my insurance for this year and let them know that there was a mistake last year but I really don't want them to cancel the insurance or take any action against me :( I don't mind paying what the difference would have been (looking at quotes this year it makes £50ish difference)

I haven't renewed yet this year I want to get this resolved first - especially because all of the companies that have a half decent price on the comparison sites are part of the same group and probably share info - i'd get found out very quickly...what do i do?

Have I missed something? Why not call the insurer and ask them about it?

I'm worried they're going to 'cancel' my insurance which i'd then have to declare to everyone else etc :S wondering if anyone's been in a similar position before and how it turned out

You will be more worried if you don't clear this up and have a claim which they refuse because of this. If a third party is injured you could end up bankrupted!
