The options depend on what risk is wanted to be taken with the money. If you want no risk leave in cash in the bank (or on the money market).
Otherwise your options are riskier, investing in bonds, funds and shares, the business can invest in all the things that an individual can as it is in the eyes of the law an individual in its own right.
I think it was Wrekin construction who invested in a gem valued by them in millions and turned out to be worthless (or near enough).
If it is short term cash there to cover unforseen problems then my view is you would need to take no risk and leave it in cash.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -

I never stated or implied that he should regard himself as self-employed to HMRC, nor is there anything in his post that suggests he does.0
