ASDA online shopping

I HATE ASDA stores; far too busy, too many chavs and their uncontrolled children and bad language, and worst of all is the prices - what it says on the shelf seems to change at the till!

So, to save me time, money and hassle (I have a 3 month old who hates shops), I thought I'd do online shopping with home delivery.

Regarding the delivery, I can't fault them - they turn up on time, and most the items are correct, or well substituted.

The prices, however, are equally as rubbish and often wrong.

The total on your completed shopping list is often not the same as the list they hand you when they arrive at your door. I only noticed this time as it was almost £3 out.

I then had to go through my original list and find what was wrong (one item charged 50% more, and another double the price!) and spend nearly 25 minutes on the phone sorting it out.

When they finally agree to my refund, I thought it was all sorted. A few days later, I get my refund email through, and they're refunding me just 20% of what they owe me!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I have sent a stroppy email telling them to sort it out.

There is nothing time saving about online shopping with ASDA.

Can anyone recommend any other online delivery supermarkets? Sainsburys, Tesco, or Waitrose?

There is one that is solely online called Ocado I think it is.

However, I do notice that Asda do state you will be charged the price at the time of picking the items in store, which may have changed since you placed your order.

That's correct.

One may make an online order on a (eg) Tuesday afternoon for delivery Thursday but some prices may change from the midnight on the Tuesday.

I believe this to be sandard for all supermarket online orders.

Trouble with ASDA is I can never find out when their offers end.
