I have some ppi claims with a company , who have mislead me with thier claim that these ppi claims would be sorted in 12 to 16 weeks . It is now 30 weeks and nothing has happened , they keep fobbing us off ,when we call them. I want to no can we change to another company and get back the money we have paid them up front .

Hope someone will get back to you soon with some useful advice, but the thing is at the moment most claims are being held due to a Judicial Review, which may be the case, but they should keep you informed no matter what.

However, many on here have had problems using claims companies.
I assume you have signed the paperwork with the company?

I don't know where you would stand to go elsewhere, but its pretty straight forward on having a go yourself, you do not need to use any claims company.

Normally its closer to 12 months and now with the judicial review, it could end up being years.

Claims companies often give you BS to get you to pay up front. your complaint is now the complaints process. it is with the claims company and you should start a complaint against the claims company for misrepresentation.

Changing to another company wont speed things up. They cannot circumvent the complaints process. Indeed, anecdotally the use of a claims company is more likely to slow it down compared to doing it yourself.
