OH MY *!@*. Have just totalled this months grocery spends and am shocked and ashamed that I have spent way way over on grocery budget this month. All I can say is at least I stocked all cupboards & freezers up and bought lots of offers to stockpile things like, cereal, flour, tin toms, dishwasher tabs etc.
so have set tiny GC budget for March to try and compensate for enormous Feb spend.
On the plus side today, have hung all washing up (tons of it) and made lunch & dinner & summer fruit pudding all at same time so only used oven once.
Got to get DS2 to do some writing - he's 7 and plays up every time but once he gets going he's fine. Not sure if I have enough patience today.
Poor pooch will have to wait until tomorrow morning - sorry 4 legs
not having a great day really.
Better DFW saving day to everyone else.Jan GC £267.47/280, Fuel:£40.60/£40; Cafes: £28.35!!/£20, NSD: ?/20

Emergency: / £1000, Vouchers: One4All £20, HairSalon £50, Caffe Nero £15.62, Pizza Express £90, Other Restaurant £60. DS1 owes camera/car ins.£800.0 -
Newly - A very damp Devon here too!! I am up on the North Coast and can hear the Sea from mine so it must be pretty fierce!
I hope your grocery spends are tiny in march!! We are wading our way through the freezer at the moment!Orange Fairy

Yeah, I had read salt and vinegars v helpful posts and am trying to get a new account sorted but didnt give myself enough time to sort before pay day so I have cancelled the card mean time (so will have a different card number and they cant get it that way) and have cancelled direct debit too for the other company. I know am not out woods yet but hopefully buy myself a bit of time to get new account set up. Monday will be a bit hairy I reckon!!DFW 228 LONG H 68

Happy Friday, and payday as well for some :j(but not for me till Monday)
Happy birthday Pixie - I just typed ' Millie' then, and had to delete and retype :rotfl:
Today I have:
Checked online banking
Read free paper on train and online news
HM meals from stores, including packed lunch (v. boring lettuce sarnies today)
LSD just the car park (unavoidable) and a coffee at the station (don't often do this but succumbed today as I had to wait ages for the train)
Decluttered bits to CS in town at lunchtime
Changed back OH's Euro notes to £s and put the coins in tin for next trip for one or the other of us.
£1 free calltime for mobile from o2 surprises
ebay item has 18 watchers and 3 bids - but only £2.20 so won't get too excited. It ends on Sunday.
Well, I am shattered, so looking forward to a bath and early night. Such an exciting life I lead :rotfl:0
