Any one had any luck with Northern Rock ?

Hi I wrote to Northern rock about a Mis-sold PPI only last week, and yesterday they replied apologising and have sent a questionnaire to fill in . They said they would resolve it within 8 weeks.
Reading stoires on here this seems to good to be true as they replied so quickly.
Has anybody had a sucess story with Northern rock ????

I believe there have been much success with these, have you checked on the above success thread as well?

The normal timescale is 8 weeks, so hopefully you will receive your decision before or by then, good luck.;)

Ive had some success with a northern rock ppi claim, the whole process took between 2 to 3 month. They settled my claim without many hold ups although i had to chase them up once on the phone after i had sent my acceptance.

Hi I got my offer letter from Northern Rock yesterday.
I first wrote to them in early Dec, month later they sent me back the exact form I had downloaded from this web site and asked to me to fill it in again. Delaying tactics I thought. About 3 weeks later got an acknowledgement letter saying they were investigating and lo and behold the offer arrived yesterday.
Happy with offer, they are repaying me all the ppi I have already paid them plus £500 in interest, totally £3500 in all. Thats my c/card and overdraft paid off now!!
Good luck with yours they seem to be acting quite quickly.
