"Which" is issuing complaint to OFT over excessive fees for Debit & Credit Cards

Which? is issuing a super complaint to the Office of Fair Trading over the fees retailers charge consumers for paying by credit or debit card and they need your support.

Got to be worth signing this.

Well they might "need" my support, but they won't get it because I disagree with their complaint.

As annoying as these fees are, you don't have to do business with these companies. I heard them complaining about Ryanair - but their fees are perfectly clear - just click on "fees" from their home page. And of course the amount is confirmed before you purchase.

I feel Which? are playing to the audience.

I would very much prefer Which? to focus on "real" issues of "unfairness" in the consumer credit market - with all the recent MBNA minimum payment threads, perhaps they could start with minimum payment hikes in respect of existing debt and a right to reject..
