computor dowload problem

Well this problem has me puzzled
downloaded a few files this evening and as normal after downloading i doubleclicked on the file in the download list box and nothing happened
Next step went to the download folder and guess what the file is not in that folder
Next step- type file name in search box clicked on properties and it confirms that the file should be in my download folder but shows the file size as 0bytes

any ideas??

tried the torrents i downloaded yesterday --working fine
downloaded 2 torrents tonight double clicked -- nothing

pulling my hair out and typing this

I think you have downloaded a virus! I used to use torrents and stopped because of this. You would be advised to run a virus scan, or try malwarebytes. Good luck!
