TV Stand

Hi
I have ordered a TV from John Lewis and it was the last one in stock. They have now called to say there is no stand. The TV is a 50" set and really needs the stand that comes with it. Can anyone advise me as to whether i would be able to claim some discount and how much for this.
Any help most appreciated.

Is the stand integral to teh TV - i.e, can the TV only be used with that stand (or one very similar), or can others be used?
you should be able to claim a discount on another item, but this would really be down to the store. If the stand is integral, then you can either claim a full refund or accept a substitution (if there is one).Don't bother trying to sue me - I've got no money!0 -
Was the stand included in the cost of the TV? If so, then yes, you would be entitled to a discount.Gone ... or have I?0
