Healthy pets insurance

Is anyone else insured with them? I have been with them for a few years now and they have been good, but since last year I have had problems. My premuim doubled and I have put in a claim for which they have lost the paperwork. I have had to make several phone calls to them and they have been less than helpfull. Any one else any experience of them please.

    Hi

I was with them, well, am until the end of the month. They've always been very good with us, but the premiums just got way too high. Around £46 to insure my 7 year old cat, Buddy. So have cancelled and am swapping, probably to Petplan. I think they changed underwriters or something recently.

This company is awful. The staff are rude and they have no interest in customer service. I am going to have to put in a complaint to the insurance ombudsman as Im getting no where with them. They just fob you off and Ive been waiting for three months for them to settle a straight forward claim.

Oh dear. I am with them, but have never had to claim. I am wondering if I should just put the money in a savings account instead as I am sure they won't cover most of the things my older lady will need (as she had to have a belly op before she was insured). Doesn't seem like it is worth it really!

They were always very good but they have apparently changed underwriters recently.
I have been told my claim will be processed today but ive heard that before. This has been going on since before christmas and yet they say they settle claims in two weeks.
Have spoken to the ombudsman today and they were very helpful.
trouble is the insurance company is happy to takeyour money but not so keen when it comes to paying out.

They also force you to continue to pay premiums after your pet has passed away, until the end of the 12 months term. They wont' let you cancel
