advice on getting an HD media player

Hi
This is all new to me but i plan to get a NAS to stream to a media player. I want a good all round Media Player that hopefully will be family friendly. I was looking at the Western Digital TV Live HD Media Player but i read reports it was not very family friendly. Any advice or experiences will be appreciated. Thanks

Why not get a blue-ray player like the LG some models will play divx,mkv and you can play media from usb stick and usb hard drive plus stream media from a pc it has net capability and will also play youtube videos

or if you just need the Sony Media player then one of these .plays pretty much everything ( well everything i a have thrown at mine ) . you can link your Love film account to it as well .

If you want Games as well get the PS3 .

got a sony 370 and usb dongle (not tried it yet). Just thought a player would be better and easier. Will try the sony
