Triton Rapide shower fault

I have a Triton Rapide shower. This morning it would only produce warm water if the control was turned fully to hot. Even then it was luke warm.

Is this a fault with the solenoid? I seem to remember reading about this problem somewhere else but can't find it now.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi, I have a Triton T80 and the solenoid went quite recently - the water just stopped mid-shower. It was very easy and cheap to fix - the part was only £10 and it took less than 5 minutes to replace.

Unfortunately, when I pulled off the originalI pulled a wire off the base of the heating can and my shower started to show exactly the same symptoms as yours - it would only run at tepid, even at the highest setting. I had to buy a replacement 'outlet assembly' with wires. It cost £23, including delivery, and I fitted it myself even though I'm not that DIY skilled - I just replaced it one wire at a time.
