Swapping radio fronts on Ford CD6000's

Anyone able to give advice re the above pls - I've got a Mondeo CD6000 unit and a knackered Focus CD6000 one and Im wanting to know if I can swap the fronts on the units, so the Mondeo unit will fit into my Focus slot
I can see there are 4 screws, 2 either side, that bolt onto the body of the unit and they will need either an allen key or a star shaped bit to get them off - is that the way to do it ?

There should be 'two holes' on each side - just slide something down these and it should just unclip and slide out. You can get removal tools but I just cut the ends of a metal coat hanger.

Thanks for replying, but I've got the unit out (and coat hangers wouldnt work on this particular CD6000 model - they need a flat blade with cut outs in) - just want to swap the grey fronts over
