Wonky doors - which route is best??

We are in the process of renovating and want to replace the white cardboard doors with oak ledged tongue and groove ones. Two options in our cold and draughty farmhouse:
1. Make plumb door frames, buy doors to fit and then sort out the gaps round the edges of frame with all means necessary (painter's mate, quadrant, wonky architrave etc).
2. Go with the wonky doors frames, and order strange shaped doors, but then don't have to do a heath robinson to disguise gaps round outside of frame.
Hubby prefers option 1, whereas I am leaning towards option 2.
Opinions??

I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent. :rotfl:

My preference would be option 1 but I guess it depends how out of line the frames are (the doors might look a bit odd if the frames are way off). At least if you sort the frames out now then you don't have to worry if you decide to change the doors again in the future.
By the way...Hubby prefers option 1, whereas I am leaning towards option 2.
Pardon the pun?0 -
If it is a period property and the original frames are oak then def. opt 2.
You don't order wonky doors. You order doors which are made square but oversize. They they are then trimmed to fit the frame and hung.
This needs to be explained to whoever makes them so that the stiles and rails can be sized correctly to allow for excess trimming than usual.0
