If they are breaking these guidelines they are in serious trouble and should be reported in writing to the oft. When they next show up give them a copy the hassesment should end then.

Hi i am sorry to here u r having problems with welcome , i can totally understand where u r coming from,I also had a car from welcome on hp with no ppi,and have also lost my job and fell behind with payments,i now have agents from welcome banging on my door and stupid times at night wakeing and upsetting the children they demand money and always aske for payment and dd details which i never give ,they shout at me as it is my fault they have to come to my house and keep them away from there family and kids,i did not ask them to visit my home.they know how hard it is at home but they r willing to take the money at what eva costs,they tell me they r going to phone a truck to come and collect the car,and i allways end up stressed and in tears,i wish i never took on this car from welcome,and we r keeping up with our payments but at the cost of taking foor money from us and i have told them this but they dont care,2 adults in the house with 4 children very young children and we have to live off £65 per week its very hard,and all becaue of welcome and they wont let us reduce our payments they just want us to pay more,the car means to much to us to get about and there is so little left on the finance now that it would not be worth handing the car back,i wish in a way welcome would take us to court so i could stand there and tell the court how welcome have treated us,i am glad they r not taking on any more finance and will be very happy the day the go under. keep you chins up and dont be afriad of them after all is said and done its just a car but they can cause so much hurt and stress.:mad:

Put a complaint in to the OFT, welcome are out of order here and they must be breaking every rule in the book.

Hey sorry to hear about your problems with welcome too. I am at the end of my tether with them now but am not going to let them get the better of me, I will fight them to the end. I know from reading other forums that people have had the same problems and although they have paid over a third of the finance, welcome have just come and took the car without a court order hence resulting in them being able to claim their money back and compensation. I just want an end to all of this but some of the info that I have received I think my complaint is upheld. I have drafted out a complaint letter to welcome and the financial ombudsman quoting all of the info I have been given through this site, so let's see what happens next....
