I frequently have problems with Halifax online. Sometimes after pressing a button, it can be any button, it goes into never never land and doesn't come back. My browser displays "Waiting for halifax.co.uk" but nothing happens and it eventually times out and logs me out. This can be half-way through the process of transferring money to someone, which is really annoying because I'm never sure whether it's actually happened or not. I wouldn't say today, or this week, was any worse than any other time. It happened with the old style website and continues to happen with the new one. FWIW, I use Firefox on a Mac.Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and you’ll get rid of him every weekend.0

No, never any problems here either.
I'd try the following:
1) Clear your cookies/browsing history
2) Close and re-open your browser
3) Try again - don't use a bookmarked link, instead type in https://www.halifax.co.uk and follow the link through
If that fails, then phone the online helpdesk. They are there 24/7.0 -
It's been sluggish ever since the roll out to the new platform started. And the irritation that the cursor jumps to the Password whilst you're part way through entering the Username ..... has returned again. Previously a symptom that the system was struggling / pages were slow.
But having said all that - not quite slow enough that it doesn't display the page.when I get to the main home page then click on the log in button
............ why not go direct to the online Login ??

hi all, tried all your suggestions this morning but nothing worked so phoned halifax who sent me an email to go through certain steps, then tried logging into personal email, nothing happening spinning circle again.
decided to phone our comany computer people who done all sort of checks and it turns out it was the netgear box causing problems
so I'm now very happy it's all sorted and I know what to do in the future to sort it should it happen again.Sealed pot challenge - member no:506
