Balance limit why £1,200

Can u shift slightly more than £1,200 (£1,500) on to one credit card,I'm paying £100 a month so plan to pay most of it off this year,

    You can usually do BTs up to 90% or 95% of the limit on your card, so it depends on your credit limit.

    If the card provider for the card you want to put the debt on says £1200 is the maximum for you on that card then thats the maximum.

    Don't understand the question - do you mean do a balance transfer?

    Confused, so your credit limit is £1200 and you want to put £1500 on there?

    In short if you go over your limit you will get charged for it, in short don't do it.

    You can phone them up and ask them to increase it, but its down to them.

    The answer to your question depends on your availible credit, the option to carry out a balance transfer, and the nature of the debt that your are looking to move.
